Savanna & Evan
This wedding held a special place in my heart, having known Savanna and her precious family since her high school years. At our initial meeting, Savanna expressed her desire for a 'Gatsby in the Garden' atmosphere for her reception. I was thrilled because, to me, that perfectly encapsulated the spirit for our ‘Savy” - Timeless & Vibrant.
Once we settled on the Sage Madison linen from Party Reflections, the rest fell right into place. The striking black-and-white dance floor embellished with eye-catching florals was a necessity! The perfect finishing touch was the vintage rotary phone, allowing guests to leave heartfelt messages for the newlyweds instead of opting for a traditional guest book.
This reception will forever live on our highlight reel, as Evan + Savanna were the first couple to eagerly embrace my suggestion of a dance battle to introduce their bridal party—a concept I've been proposing for years. Not to be outdone, Mr. Thompson, the father of the bride, dazzled everyone with his surprise "boogie" during the Father-Daughter dance.
